Aretha Scruggs

ARETHA SCRUGGS is a singing professor who has a mission in life to help students unlock the power of their own voice.  For the past 18 years, she has coached students of all ages and singing levels, in private lessons and master classes. Her joy is to see her students learn and grasp concepts necessary to then, build the muscle memory needed to find total vocal freedom on the stage.   As a live performer she has performed in 20 countries and been on tour with such artists as Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, Christina Aguilera and Anita Baker. Currently as an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University, she is a Commercial Voice Instructor and gets the chance to encourage students every day . She counts it a privilege to use her voice to empower people to find their voice and use it.   

This year, starting in February 2024, Aretha is starting a NEW group vocal experience that you don't want to miss. Joining her expertise on compassionately walking students through the journey to finding their own voice, with the combined benefits of studying in small groups of 3-5 students, this cohort method is guarnteed to help students reach their greatest potential together.
